Just a “heads up” on some of what is now being planned . We're targeting  waterholes , streams etc . for improvements prior to next winter . You will see markers over the next couple months flagging streams and problem areas that we hope to improve upon . Once the most important areas have been identified , we will try to obtain the required permits . Our goal is to have this work completed prior to next hunting season , as we are unable to do trail work durring that time . I hope to organize some work days during warm weather for the larger projects . Your feedback is invited . Thanks , Bob

Gret Job !!!!!!!!!!!!Cool I was hessitant to go up there this weekend but am glad that I did! I will be up there this week during the day with my knippers and just putting around hitting some of the small branches. It's not much but it's something that I can do alone and fits into my schedule.

Thanks Dan!  Just a little help from everyone knocking off the branches and picking up the deadwood and it'll be done in no time.

There are still lots of ice covered hanging limbs . We removed many of the larger ones with the help of the groomer . i will be snipping away at more of the smaller ones , but it's going to take time , and i'll concentrate on the higher traffic areas first . Anyone that rides durring the day and feels comfortable packing a pair of clippers or small hand saw is welcome to lend a hand at their own pace. Either way ,if you stop on the trail , be careful of where you stop . Keep Mulleyville safe . Thanks, Bob

Hit the trails on Sunday. These are great trails! I've only been on them 3 times. I will be up there a lot more this year. If I go up soon I will bring some clippers with me.

As promised , chronic problem areas are starting to be marked , with blue ribbons . Since many of these problems haunt us year to year , we're going to try and minimize them this summer with the hope that Mulleyville will come up to speed earlier, and last longer . Look for the ribbons . your comments are welcome .

Continue to keep an eye out for limbs (and workers ) on the trail . The main trails continue to be the best . The groomer is both widening and raising the canopy , while we continue to also cut back and pick up branches by hand . the section of C-8 leading back from the ski center is the latest trail to come on line and will be receiving tlc . Be especially carefull there .

yes, but most of the atv's we run into up there are unauthorized persons. We ask that camp owners ride in and out and use the most direct route.  It's always been a difficult issue since NY parks rules regarding funded snowmobile trails expressly prohibit ATV's but as you say, the lease owners have the right to access thier camps and we'll always respect that as long as they aren't joy riding.
