Just got back from a beautiful Full Moon Ride of the trail system tonight.  Everything is groomed out flat and very hard.  The ice storm has brought many limbs down to head height so be very careful.

The main road trails are wide, flat and fast.  Be careful and STAY RIGHT.

The wooded trails have occasional water holes or rough spots so take it easy on them or the holes will pop up out of nowhere and throw you.  Watch the tree limbs.

If you are riding to Lake Desolation take the northern section of the S83 loop off of Davignon Rd as that is in great shape and the southern side is in poor shape after logging this summer.

S84 is CLOSED due to Logging.  Stay out of there as it's a mess.  I'll try and get some signs up this weekend.

The alpine meadows trails (C8 and S87) have still not been groomed though it's likely they have frozen up by now.  We'll try and groom them open this weekend.  In the meantime continue taking S86 across from Ormsbee to Spruce.

Have fun and be safe!

Steve

Jerry and Vicki Feulner Groomed open the S87 Alpine meadows trail this afternoon and it's in pretty good shape.  No mud.  The C8 ski hill trail is still not groomed open yet but you can ride it at your own risk.

The trails held up well to a ton of traffic today and the groomers will be out tonight spiffing them up for sunday.

There are still random water holes that will jump up on some high speed areas so please be careful

Trails got beat up pretty bad this weekend and by the afternoon on sunday they were whooped good.  The groomers will be out fixing them up the next few days so we can do it all over again next weekend Laughing.

We got a bout 5 inches of new snow Saturday night which freshened everything up very nicely but the powder was easily pounded into moguls.  With single digit highs this week we should see the trails setup real nice after the groomers hit them. Next weekend should be great.

Please remember to ride on the right side of the road on Fox Hill Road (with Vehicle traffic).  I saw a close call with a few people riding on the wrong side of the road today.  If we can't follw simple traffic laws we'll lose our priviledge of riding the road.
