Since Sunday many repairs have been made to the trails. The groomers have been out . The upper section of S-82 was opened to the  clearing Sunday . Most of the ice covered limbs that were issues for riders Saturday are no longer concerns . several blind sposts that suddenly had popped up because of ice covered hemlock have also been dealt with . The remaining water crossings on S-85 and the snake hill trail section of C-8 (leading to the fire tower) have been fine tuned . As Steve mentioned elsewhere we are planning on opening the Alpine Meadows trail Sunday . It is expected that this upcomming cold weather will finally set things up enough . S-83 leading out to Fox hill also had some thin spots . Hopefully this cold snap will set that up better . Bob
