This is from one of my “sources”
“Just got back from doing a quick 76 miles in Mville. Trails were great for the most part. Met the groomer leaving wells road and met him again near the fire tower on the way back to the truck. There was a couple of place where the wind was really blowing the snow, but the trails were flat and hard underneath the new snow. One caution I want to bring up… going down to mosher road… the trail was groomed perfect at about 130, and it is very easy to speed up going down there, but watch out there is a little creek flowing across the trail, nothing major, but if you hit going 45+ its gonna hurt. I usually carry pink tape with me but ran out last week.
Also went down to the lake, the sacandaga side of the mountain didn't get as much snow as the Mville side. Still good riding, but they have some places where the snow is “dirty”. Got to the lake and couldn't believe how much it dropped since 2 weekends ago. Also heard there was water in places. So I pussed out and stayed off the lake.
Its almost March… it will be over soon ride it while its white!”
