Any truth to the rumor that the town of corinth was looking to make a deal with the club regarding property for parking and a barn on county rt 10 which as the rumor goes also included use of the Tracks to go into corinth for gas and such? Would be nice to have a groomer on each side of the mtn. Not to mention access to corinth and gas.Possibly use of the tracks as far as luzerne? Can't make it to the mtg tomorrow night but I am interested in whats going on.

not really. that was our request when the lease of the land over there came up. Land is villiage and tracks are town owned. There are a lot of rumors out there that the BOD hasn't even heard yet.

P/C , i met with the village in the spring . I described that we needed , land to build a barn and parking . i also stated that we somehow wanted access to the village resturants and esp gas . As i remember it when i mentioned access to the tracks , eyebrows went up , and then it was well , we'll toss it around and get back to you , which never happened . icame away with the feeling that they were simply interested in leasing us land near the existing parking area , but no more , especially the use of the tracks . there was an article in the latest corinth pennysaver by the town that the tracks were off limits to sleds and atv's etc , and that violators would be prosecuted .

Thanks for responding. That's how I deal with rumors, get them out in the open and that squashes the ones that aren't true and then address the ones that are. 90% of the time rumors are caused by misinformation or a lack of information. The rest is just politics and they belong in Albany. An Idle mind is the devils workshop!! Come on snowmobile season
