In addition to what Steve said in this months news letter , I'd like to add something . We have worked hard to maintain a good working relationship with the lumber company / land owners and everyone that regulates our very existance as a club . Last years lumbering operations on our trail S-83 leading from the burned out Explorer to Fox Hill Rd left us with an unridable / ungroomable trail that required a lot of hard work to return it to service for this season . We are working with the lumber company to prevent this from happening on the closed trails that they are working this year . Long term (next season ) we are hoping to actually benefit from this years logging operation . In a nutshell , our cooperation as riders and our following this years guidlines will most likely result in smoother trails next year . There are a couple hilly sections where the meeting of sled and logging truck , would be disasterous . We want to avoid this at all costs . Please do your part .
