We groomed everything up nice Thursday night and the guys tell me they’re headed out again tonight in the rain to make sure it refreezes nice and smooth for Saturday’s Trail Stop. 

Don’t let the rain Friday keep you from coming out Saturday.  The trails will be great.  We had tons of snow before so there will be plenty after.

Multiple reports from the field are that all the trails are groomed flat and fast again.  There’s lots of snow so get out and enjoy it this weekend and stop in to the trail stop and / or bonfire.

well they weren’t very good today (sunday). We groomed saturday afternoon and the night traffic from the fireworks just destroyed any smooth surfaces. Someone went out and groomed C8 from the barn out to s83 and around that loop then back S81 to the Ormsbee Kiosk this afternoon so those trails are better. Hopefully we’ll get them all fixed up by Monday Night or Tuesday.

Remember we have the Ride in and bonfire on Saturday. You better believe the trails will be back to highway form for that assuming the warm up this week doesn’t do much damage.

Reports from the mountain are 8-12″ of heavy wet snow fell Wednesday.  I haven’t seen it first hand yet as i didn’t make it out tonight like i usually do on Thursdays.  The trails were groomed super-highways before the snow so now i’m sure they are great.  This snow may not groom well as it’s so clumpy but they’ll be primo for you to hit the trails this weekend.

The spruce side was groomed early Sunday and it made it real nice too.  If you didn’t ride this weekend because you thought the conditions wouldn’t be good you really missed out.

If we get snow this week like they say then we’ll be back in great shape.
