We got about 20″ of heavy snow out of Round 1.  Round 2 looks promising for another 8-12″.  Trails have all been groomed once but are still going to be pretty soft due to the warm temperatures.  Please go easy on the trails as mashed potato snow bumps up very easy.  I fully expect to see some monster bumps at some points this weekend.  We will do our best to keep up but how fast the snow is coming, the expected high traffic, and temperatures could be tough on them.  One thing is for sure, we don’t have low snow conditions anymore.

please ride wide and don’t cow path trails as you break them.  This will improve the groomers ability to pack it down and improve safety by widening the trails.  Stay right, and remember Groomers have the right of way.  When you see them coming please pull off the trail and let them by.  if you are behind a groomer please don’t thrash the trail and they will let you by as soon as it’s safe.  They know you are back there.
